Soft Skills Consultants (Mauritius) Ltd has held a Certificate Award Ceremony for the NSDP (National Skills Development Programme) trainees for two programmes : Professional Skills for Administrative Assistants (Batch 1) and Professional Skills for Customer Executives (Batch 3) on Saturday 10th November 2018.

These two programmes were organised under the National Skills Development Programme (NSDP) which is implemented by the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC).

This programme targets unemployed youth having studied up to the HSC and in the age group of 18 - 35 years old and it offers the following benefits to the trainees:

  • Training for skills that are in high demand in the relevant industries/sectors.
  • At the end of successful completion of training, a certificate is be issued as applicable by TEC/MQA regulations
  • A stipend of Rs 5,000 plus Rs 1,000 for travelling expenses for the duration of the training

Professional Skills for Administrative Assistant (Batch 1)

From January  to April 2018,  15 selected candidates had the opportunity to learn about modern office administration where the role of the office administrator has drastically evolved over the past decades.

This programme has been specially designed to meet the training needs of the modern administrative assistant with modules such as :

It is based on our training experience of 270 administrative assistants from 109 corporate organisations in our two day best-selling programme “Professional Skills for Office Administrator” since November 2012.

Professional Skills for Customer Executive (Batch 3)

From April 2018 to September 2018, 15 selected candidates had the opportunity to learn more about the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) sector in Mauritius and were trained in Customer Service & Sales.

The 78 hours training programme has been specially designed to meet the training needs of modern Customer Executives with modules such as :

  • Building your Self Esteem and Assertiveness Skills
  • Business English for Call Centers
  • Mastering Soft Skills for Workplace Success
  • Call  Center Training : Sales and Customer Service Training for Call Center Agents
  • Telemarketing : Using the telephone as a Sales Tool
